WOW!! 54 surveys!

A HUGE Thank you to everyone who filled out a survey for my dissertation! You all are great! It's amazing when people come through for you! Also, a special thanks to Smokkee, Waffles and Carmen for pimping the survey!

So, now all I have to do is score the survey and get the data into a spreadsheet for my Chairperson. Oh, that's only 216 individual assessment instruments! LOL

Anyways, school is almost over for me - only 2 more days, including today! Then, we are off to Florida! We are loading the truck on Friday and leaving Cali on Saturday. Good times. I will definitely have more time to blog after school is over! And, will blog from the road.

Can't wait to start my internship. I will be working with kids ages 5 to about 10 or 11 at a residential day treatment facility. These kids are supposedly in real trouble. The schools won't even take them in any longer for educational purposes. One day a week I will commute to Tampa to a residential treatment program for teens and kids. These kids have been removed from their homes and are also severely emotionally disturbed. Do you guys remember a while back a story in the news about some kids found in Florida that were kept in cages by their parents? Well, those are the kinds of kids that I will be working with. These kids' stories are so sad, but I am really looking forward to working with them. It's challenging, yet can be very rewarding!

Thank you!! 10 more surveys needed!

Thank you to all the wonderful bloggers who answered my call for help on my dissertation research survey!! I have received an outstanding 39 complete responses!!! When I told my dissertation chairperson, he was very excited!!! But, his very next statement was "let's see if we can get more!"

So, we are hoping to get about 10 more responses! I do show that many people started the survey, and stopped at various points. This is not a problem, and is your right to do so. However, I do want to let you know that if you go back into the survey, it will pick back up on the page you exited from. So, if you choose to go back and complete the full survey you will not have to start all over. This is a good thing, as I know it is very long!

So how 'bout it ladies and gentlemen? Can we get 10 more responses? Please feel free to forward the link to anyone you know might be interested in contributing to this important research project.

And thank you again in advance!
